Stephen,

It's Tracy Rybacki and 7th Heaven is great. I hope you and youre family
is doing okay. I love your cd, I hope I can get tickets for your concert.
Will and Grace and the west wing is playing live and I would like to know if
7th Heaven will be playing live as well. I would like to know that is
7th Heaven is going to have a musical episode like the valentine. The cast
has talent in singing. I would also be deeply appreciate a cd of the theme
song and also the song sunshine of my life that you sang in one episode.

Love,
TR

I loved your show. How could you compromise like that? What's with the "your higher power" statement? How could you. You play a minister! How could you put God aside for a higher power?

This ruins the whole show! We spoke of the show at our last Bilbe Study and the main comment was "it used to be a good, healthy show to watch, but like the rest of TV, they've gone to the "politically correct" route and thrown the Lord out of the show!

Shame on you!

JJ

Dear JJ,

I have nothing to do with the concept or execution of the scripts. But personally, I have no problem with the term "higher power." Eric did not, as you suggested, "put God aside for a higher power." He simply acknowledged that acceptance of a higher power is a good thing. Personally, I don't believe that a "higher power" is in competition with God. I also believe that there are different kinds of higher powers at work in life: sometimes the spirit of a community of people working toward a common good can be a power greater than an individual. Sometimes the beauty or force of Nature is surely a power higher than ourselves. That doesn't mean that God isn't there or that we don't need God. I also believe that God is generous and is glad for the work of powers other than He. And I believe He directs them. The idea of a higher power isn't "politically correct." In modern culture, the idea often comes from 12-Step groups, like AA, which are spiritual, not religious, in nature. 12-Step groups, respecting that people who come to them are from different religious backgrounds, don't require a specific religious belief from their members. You may be uncomfortable with that. But I don't think God is.

-Stephen

P.S. And I hope you watch our Christmas episode in December. I think you'll enjoy it.

Colette,
I said this before, he is such an amazing actor and singer, he's great!
I love his charater, he does a great job with Eric Camden. :>)
Continue to be great, Stephen, we are watching.

You know, as far as I can recall, before Stephen appearing on celebrity poker .... there was no "poker advertising" in his guestbook. I guess he picked up a few "fans" along the way. A few that I wish would stay away from here, like the rest of you who don't have anything meaningful to say to or about Stephen.

Stephen, remember you still have many out there who enjoy you and what you are doing and love to visit your site and read and write in your guestbook.

Mr. Collins,
I wrote in this back in January and nothing has changed. I still love the show. The only thing that has changed is that I am now out of the Navy and back in TN. Keep up the good work and thanks for the autographed pic. Just one question, did you really sign it or is it a copy? I am getting teased bc I keep saying it is real. I was just curious. Thank you.

I would like to comment on this:
Due to complications from Hurricane Katrina, the bonus DVD that was to have been included with The Hits of Rick Nelson is not available with the current release of the CD. Stephen apologizes and hopes you'll enjoy the CD.

Stephen,
I would like to thank you for trying to do the bonus DVD, and maybe one day it will be available, I'm just glad that you did a second CD, and I am sure that I will enjoy it!
Thanks again Stephen,

Your new CD is great. What a wonderful band and you sing ....."heavenly". Tracy has every reason to be impressed with the tribute you guys did to her "pop". I was so looking forward to the DVD that was supposed to accompany the CD, but I guess there's a reason why it wasn't able to be included. Thanks for including the liner notes and the information that Tracy sent you. They were interesting to read.

Hi, I have 3 grown children and 6 grandchildren. They all enjoy 7th heaven and it's a show that we can all sit down and watch without embarrasment.
You are so talented. I do wonder though why you think Transendental meditation would make the world more peaceful? Why not Jesus? Meditation can be harmful if people meditate on the wrong thing. Take Charles Mansion...he meditated on killing people.
Just a thought...

Love Seventh Heaven and wish there were more shows on like this one. I Hope it will be on for many more years. My daughter hopes to be an actress won day. She is 15.She has been in local theater stuff but hopes to be on tv one day. We just dont live in an area that has many opportunities for that. I love that your show has many child actors on it. Maybe one day she will get a chance like the kids on your show did. I hope she will be able to one day audition for a classy show like yours. She especially likes Simon. I especially like you. But everybody on there is so great. I cant imagine having 7 children. I have 2. My daughter sort of looks like the girl that plays Rose. Thankfully she isnt at all like Rose. Any way, its fun to watch the whole CAmden family.

Hi Stephen,

I just wanted to say you are a multi-talented man. I purchased and read your first book, have not read the second one yet but look forward to it. I bought your Rick Nelson CD and some of the songs from your other CD. Don't give up your music. I think you are very gifted in more ways than one and you have a great voice. My family and I have watched "7th Heaven" since it has been on the air. Great TV show. Remarkably refreshing this day and time from complete violence and sex oriented shows. Keep up the good work. I just received your CD in the mail. I'm listening to it now as I type this. Needless-to-say I absolutely love it. When I listen to current music with my 16 year old daughter I can't help to feel we have lost a pure, emotional, innocence in our music. If you don't mind my asking, what happened to the accompanying DVD that was mentioned on your website a few months ago? Don't get me wrong, I still cherish this CD. Now I have to go and read every word of the liner and song notes.

Hey stephen Hope you are well now we can see first hand on this site
I know that you aren't a minister in real life, but I believe you have
values and morals,
I am looking forward to monday fresh seventh heaven comes on
I have written before about my son trying to break into the biz he has his foot
in the door, I wished you could meet him
Again I am so glad seventh heaven is still on the air, it seems like
most of the time when you get a good family show, well its almost like
they cant wait to get rid of it. I have the upmost respect for you, and all
the cast members, and sam and david are just the sweetest
I liked ruthie when she was little , being kind of sassy was cute back then
but I don't care for the way her character talks to her parents. If I talked
to my parents like that....well it just wouldn't have happened, but all the same
I love the show..Even though my dad wasn't a preacher(he was Master Sargent in the United States Air Force) My mother grew up a Preachers daughter, and it
is alot different than the show depicts it . at least in real life
I just believe that it is truly a wonderful show...................but iy
could use a few changes just like any other show

hey We have here the perfect kid to bring a breath of fresh air back to
seventh heaven(bo) I love to watch seventh heaven, but I have been
told by other people that I have tried to get to watch it, That sometimes
the kids don't sound like real kids talking, like when they ask a question, they then evaluate the answer, and explain the answer to the person that they have ask the question to. The character or Ruthie is only fifteen, We don't know where the writters are going with the character, the scene where she was dancing,( you know that type of Dancing) And then kept doing that even at
the church social, My friends, just felt like the daughter of a minister
would have new better than to act like that at a church function, and even
if it was a lapse in judgement that her mother would have scolded her for that.
I personally feel it did show the mother react to it, but no action was taken.
I personally feel like none of this makes any difference to me I love the show
and it is all about entertainment so it doesn't have to be so real.
I know if I could get some people to sit down and watch the whole show they would love it. I do wished this young actor I know could have the chance to auditon. He would love to be on seventh heaven we think it is a truly wonderful show which deals with alot of life lessons.

Hello how are you, I just wanted to tell you how I have enjoyed the show seventh heaven I have watched it ever since it aired the first time, and
my youngest son who is only a year younger than the character ruthie, He has
grew up watching it. I think it is about the only good clean family entertainment on television nowadays, and we need more shows like it. I have
a fourteen year old son who is trying to get his big break, he has been working hard for over 10 years he has done close circuit television, stage, and film
I have tried to get casting information so he could audition for seventh heaven
but we keep hitting snags. We are leaving this weekend for him to go to his second audition, and cold reading for a film, he has been a extra, and just landed a speaking role, at this time we don't know which role, just that it is a speaking role. I know you probably get alot of letters like this from aspiring actors from all over the globe, but Joseph has been working at this sooooooooo long. he has had the classes drama classes, acting classes, Modeling classes, he just needs his first big break. thanks so much

Hey Mr. Collins

I came across your email when I was looking up next week 7th Heaven show. I just wanted to say that I have been watching 7th Heaven for along time and I still enjoy every moment of it. Congrats to all of you to making it to the 10th Season maybe even to the 11th. I am collecting all the seasons now as they come out, so I will be able to watch them over and over when you guys are finished all your shows. You make an awesome on T.V Minister, and I think you could be a minister in real life. I can't believe how the cast members have all grown up especially Mackenzie Rosman I remember her when she was just 5 years old and starting out on the show. Anyways, If you like you can email me back it would be nice to hear from you! I could brag that I got an email from you lol. I am a huge fan of all the cast members especially David Gallagher because he's so hott. Shhhh don't tell anyone lol. Seeya later! Keep up the good work, and say hi to the gang for me...TEll them one of their fans says hi! I will do my job to keep watching the shows.

It is so refreshing to watch 7th Heaven....with so much violence and smut on other shows it is a breath of fresh air. I'm a wife, mom, grandmom nearing 60 and have been watching the show for years. Enjoyed the music on tonight's episode (Oct. 3, 2005)

Stephen, hi hello, my name's Dawn. Well...I wrote a letter to Brenda Hampton a long time ago asking if it was possible for her to get any of the 7th Heaven cast members to come in and talk to my drama II class, and just today she called me to tell me that no nothing like that would've happened, but she still called me anyway to thank me for writing and stuff...at the time I didn't really know what to say because it had been such a long time since I wrote the letter that I could hardly remember what I had said in it, and I honestly had not been watching the show since the beginning of the 10th season because junior year's just been so hectic and everything that I either completely forget to watch or I don't have time, so I may have come off as not appreciating that she took the time out to call me, so if you could just let her know that I really do appreciate that she actually called me to let me know she got the letter and all, and I appreciate that she complimented my writing skills as well. She said that I should check the show out tonight so I did, and I think she may have just gotten me interested in it again because I did enjoy the episode. Thank you much! Best Wishes, Dawn

I would love an autographed picture of you & also of your band & Jon(jason) I volunteer at Proctors Theater in Schenectady,NY and would love it if you would come there with your band. Stephen,
You were absolutely hysterical on tonight's episode of 7th Heaven. You and Catherine Hicks pretending to immitate the provocative music that Ruthie was listening to almost made me fall on the floor. Keep great episodes like this coming and remember we'll always be tuning in!

I saw you on Tony Danza Show today and it reminded me of how much I enjoy your work. Didn't know you sang but downloaded your newest album of Ricky Nelson songs. It is great and I am enjoying it very much. I saw you in the Williamstown production of Sherlock Holmes and loved it. I also very much enjoy 7th Heaven. I haven't read any of your books but that will be next on my list as I love to read. Do keep up the good, good work. I wish you all the best and God bless you and your family.

7th Heaven is a terrific show. I love how it deals with life and sometime I even try and use the Camden family wisdom with my family. I especially like your connection to Rick Nelson. I also have been a long time fan of Rick's. Looking forward to receiving your CD that I ordered. Also thank you for addressing a few years back the rumors that were associated with Rick's plane crash. I'm sure every Rick Nelson thanks you I know I do.

Hey Stephen...
I wanted to say that I just finished listening to your new album in its entirety...what a round of fantastic numbers!!! I actually did all of my calculus homework over it and the music motivated me. I downloaded the album off of iTunes the day after the 7th Heaven premiere. That episode had to have been a big plug for it, so it's great that "It's Late" and "Young Emotions" were featured on it. Take care!

Stephen,
It was wonderful to have the opportunity to see you and Peter Graves together again in last night's episode. I think you two are one of the best father/son pairings in Hollywood history. All too often it seems that actors are thinking of their next lines and not really listening to each other. You gentlemen could give a clinic in listening to your fellow actor and responding to what that actor is saying and doing. The show is off to a great start this year. I'm so glad it's back.

Stephen,
I've been a fan of yours since "7th Heaven, and have quite a bit of photos of you (bought off of ebay). I also have your debut album. I like the rest of the 7th Heaven cast but you are my # 1 favorite because you are a great role model for me. I am 28 years old and only watch 7th Heaven just to see you. I grew up going to church (by the way, I am a LDS (Latter Day Saint- but no longer go to church cause of long time illness in the family), so that is way I admire your role as Reverend Eric Camden because I have a friend who used to be my Bishop when I lived in Northern California. I sure would love to meet you someday and maybe have my picture taken with you. I get jealous that other fans get to meet their favorite stars and I never do. Anyway, keep up the great work and by the way, say "Hi," to Catherine Hicks.

Hey Stephen,

Loved last night's episode that featured cuts from your new album. It reminds me of an episode from early in Season 5 that featured the music of Rick Nelson in promotion of the Rick Nelson: Legacy box set.
Do you think this will be the last season for 7th Heaven or will it go on another year or two?
I also saw you on The View yesterday singing "Lonesome Town", I have on tape the last album that Rick Nelson(credited as Ricky Nelson)made. It's called "All The Best", and it's rerecordings of all his hits including "Garden Party"(my favorite), that album came out in the early 80's.
Could you do more singing on 7th Heaven? I think the addition of Haylie Duff will make this season, as Ashlee Simpson did a few years back.
So here's to a successful 10th season of 7th Heaven.

Hey Stephen...I just wanted to say, one of the show's biggest fans, that I thought the premiere was spectacular. You all did a great job and made us fans very satisfied. I have to admit that I was worried about where the episode was going...I thought at first that some of the producers wanted to purposely spoil the series. You have a definite hit here, as always, and I am so grateful to you all for sticking with it. To me, this 7th Heaven is not a show - it is a life. I would love to get in touch with you one day. It would truly be a dream come true. Even as a 19 year old guy, I'll be by the show's side forever and please go to work every day knowing that people like me appreciate your wholesome show that just tells it like it is! Not many guys my age will spend time watching a series like this so you've accomplished something!!! I've been with you since 1999 and have never missed the first airing of a new episode!! Take care and good luck with the rest of the season!!!

i love 7th heaven and this season looks like another amazing one. last night was a show full of surprises. i cant believe that martin might be a father, its so not like him. its great though to watch a show of a loving family who deal with real life issues that so many others face. i think its the best family show out there and that people with teenagers should sit down and watch it with their kids. some teenagers need to see what kinds of consequences their actions can have.

Just a note to tell you that I enjoy "Seventh Heaven" and watch it every week. I didn't know until recently that you were a writer but after I read the first two pages of "Double Exposure" I will buy the book. So glad you are now recording with the band. I enjoyed Ricky Nelson and you sound a lot like him. I loved seeing you on TV today on the talk show-- I liked learning about you as a person not the character you play on "Seventh Heaven."
I am awaiting tonight's new show after the summer of reruns. I can almost tell what each actor or actress is going to say I have seen some of the shows so often. Tell all the cast I think the show is terrific!
Good luck in all you do.

Dear Mr. Collins - I have been a big fan of yours for years especially from "Tales of the Gold Monkey" which to this day is still one of my favorite television shows of all-time. It is because of this I follow your work to this day and your role as Rev. Camden has been truly inspirational. I realize the show presents the "ideal" family but it continues to be a role model to aspire to be. It is the one show that my father and I still share - however, we have barely spoken in the past 15 years it is the one common ground that we can agree upon. It is because of the character you protray(which I have to believe possess some of your values) that I plan to reconcile with my father after all of these years before it is too late. Thank you for sharing the adventures of Jake Cutter which are still close to my heart to this day to and your role as Rev. Camden that has provided me with the courage and the inspiration to reconcile with my father after almost 7 years of no communication. If I could ask just one question it would be about your experiences on working on "Tales..." was it as enjoyable as it comes across in the show and can you share any memories of working with the cast and Donald B.. Thank you for your protrayals of Jake Cutter and Rev. Eric Camden they have provided both adventure and inspiration in my life - Scott Osinga

Hello, I just met you at the WB party in Los Angeles and do not consider myself star-struck, a groupie, etc.... but you are terrific! I thoroughly enjoyed watching you as you treated each and every fan with respect and what I thought was genuine interest. It couldn't possibly be... no one is that nice (surely). You are an incredible actor! Great job... and I look forward to following your career. I was so relieved to find that you wife is absolutely gorgeous, too!

I have to admit... I was star-struck by you.. and one of my friends told me that you were "gay." I was so disappointed... and so relieved to come to your site and find a wife and children!!!!!! (not that gay is bad... I just had different expectations)

Thank you for being so very nice and polite to me (and all the other fans)... I had my picture made with you... and like I told you, you are even better looking in person... TV does not do you justice! (I told all of this to my husband who I love dearly and unconditionally)

I don't know if the support of a woman you don't know means anything to you, but I wanted to let you know that I support your efforts 150%. When I wake up to news that one of our supposed religious leaders is advocating assisination of a head of government because he doesn't agree with how the man runs his counrty, I wonder when and where the madness will end. In an interview for Enlightenment Today about a year ago I saw that you have been accused of being a "flake" for your support of peaceful solutions. To that I can only pray, "Please, loving God, send us more flakes." In the meantime, I will continue to pray for you and all the people advancing a meditative and peaceful solution to our woes. Thank you for have true courage. Mary Kay

If anyone is interested, I do have a websight now (yea, my first one, a friend of mine talked me into doing this) dedicated to Catherine Hicks, I have a message board, and hopefully soon, I will get a guestbook. Hope you can come and join!

Hi Stephen, I'll come right to the point of my msg. I've been a fan since The tv miniseries The Rhinemann Exchange from the 70's. What is the possibility that you can convince the powers that be to release it on DVD? Ludlum fans would love to see this tv miniseries released. So many other films/tv shows have been released from around that time, but nothing on the radar for RE.
Thanks for the years of entertainment you've given on 7th H. & your music.

Hi!
This is a warning - Catherine Hicks' websight was hacked. I hope that Stephen's websight will be ok - I hate this, today there was someone in her guestbook that was trying to cause problems, and I think it was the same person, just a hunch. I do hope that Catherine's webmaster will be able to clean this mess, and relaunch her webpage - I hope they don't give up.
A sad, Catherine Hicks Fan,

Hi,

I'm an Australian (of Finnish and Hungarian origins) who lives in Switzerland. I'm an aspiring author (first book "The Path" is being released in the US by Dorrance Publishing House) end of August/early September 2005.

I occasionally watch 7th Heaven on Swiss TV and as I really enjoy your acting in the series I decided to look you up on the web. And lo and behold, I discover that you are a man of multiple talents including writing!

I'd just like to say BRAVO! When I was 10 I read Lawrence Olivier's book "Actors on Acting" and decided to become an actress. My father, a psychiatrist, dissuaded me. My other dream was to write and now at age 40 it looks like it is finally happening.

People like you are an inspiration. It makes me determined to continue...to try to get my second book published (it is finished and copyrighted) and to finish the third....etc...

Cheers,

Siam

Stephen,

I just found this article about you that I just finished reading.
http://www.mediawisefamily.com/syw/i-collins.html

You don't know how happy I am that we have you playing the role of Rev. Eric Camden. I don't think anyone else could have pulled it off. I have to admit, when I first started to watch the show, I was Catherine Hicks' fan, but after watching you, you too are an amazing actor, and I am happy and proud to be a fan of yours also.

All my love,
Shelley

Hi Stephen & everyone,

Stephen, I hope that you don't mind me writing this in your guestbook:

Yesterday, my town had a bomb scare, in one of the malls. I noticed something was going on when I saw three helicopters hovering over our little airport (which is right across from where I work) anyway, when I got home I found out what happened.

Our main road was blocked off for a couple of hours, so many police from many different towns came to help us out. A bus driver saw a suitcase that was near a bus stop (in front of the mall). The bomb squad was called, and we are so lucky, it turned out to be - nothing. The person who owned the suitcase, also came back to retreve it.

I am so glad that it was nothing, and also, I am so happy that our police, and the other town's police, came really quick.

It made me realize how precious life is.

Take care, everyone
Love,
Shelley

Hey Stephen. I'm sure production is well underway for season 10. I just wanted to offer my gratitude and support for lasting this long. You have inspired people, including myself, in ways that cannot be described through this show. God bless all of you and keep up the terrific work this year as you smash these old TV records - 7th Heaven is the only show worth doing so. I cannot wait until September 19. I have my evening already planned out to watch the 200th episode/premiere. Take care.

I have enjoyed your talent as an actor, writer and now singer as I heard your music for the first time today and really liked it. I tried to order your CD but the security alert said the certificate was expired or not valid at this time. I then wrote to you at Envision Entertainment but knew this would take a long time so am stating again how much I would like to get your CD and the upcoming one regarding Rick Nelson's music.
I have already e-mailed you asking for an autograph photo but now if you could please tell me how I could obtain this first CD it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks again for the enjoyment you give so many people.

Regards to both your families and please continue what you are doing.

Hi Stephen!

I have just got to get your new CD for my husband Jeff for Father's Day! He loves Ricky Nelson and he would love this! You have a great singing voice and should continue making music. I have enjoyed watching you on your TV show as well as many of your movies. Jeff is a Methodist Minister at a small town located about an hour north of St. Louis and we have a daughter, Sarah who is 7 years old.

One interesting note: My mother's maiden name is Collins. But, I don't know if we would be related. Her family is from Central Illinois and I think, Kentucky as my Great-Great Grandfather Collins supposibly was from there and served in the Civil War on the Confederate side. But, you just never know....

Stephen,

Just wanted to let you know I really enjoy watching you on "7th Heaven" every week. For a show that just ended its ninth-season, it still has a fresh feel to it. A lot of shows stay on the air long after they have really run their course, but I can't say the same for "7th Heaven." I especially liked the decision to cut some of the extemperaneous characters and return the focus to the Camdens this past season. I also like seeing shows about functional families with parents who love each other and are plugged in to their kids. Last but not least, thanks for giving us a show that is completely devoid of foul language, graphic violence and sex. I used to work at The WB's affiliate in Paducah, Kentucky (WDKA-TV) and I think our general manager summed up the success of "7th Heaven" the best when he declared that the show had lasted seven seasons "and they've done it all without sex, drugs, or violence." I hope that many years from now, when "7th Heaven" is just a TV memory, you will look back on it with pride.

Dear Stephen,
I want to start out first by saying thank you. Thank you for acting in the hit drama 7th Heaven. I absolutely LOVE 7th Heaven. I am home every day to watch it on ABC family and the WB. I have the first 2 seasons on DVD and watch them over and over again. This show is so different because everyone can relate to at least one character, you can watch the show with your families, and the episodes never get boaring. I am going to cry SO hard when the show ends because i truely believe that this is the best show on television. When i'm watching the show I sometimes forget that your not a real family because you look like you've known each other forever. I get so excited when you mention Buffalo because i'm from here and most shows don't mention colder places like Buffalo NY. Before i end I just want you to tell the cast thank you and I love you guys.

I commented on your May 2nd show about hunger. Because of the memorial at the end I started a campaign against hunger here in Columbia. It is called, "A Dime A Day Keeps Hunger Away." I have to wait until it goes through one Council after another after another to see if it will be approved. Session will vote on it next Sunday night.

I wish that churches were more like Glen Oak Community Church. You submit a proposal and have it accepted it on the spot.

I got the idea of saving dimes from a program I saw on TV. A man had three jars in front of him. He said, "If every woman in America saved a dime a day in each of these jars, she could be a millionaire. I couldn't do three. I did one. My six-year-old grandson Harry Turner asked what the dimes were for.

I told him to feed the hungry. He donated his own money so that people would have food to eat! Fourty thousand people die daily because of starvation, most of them are under the age of 5. Because Harry Turner had good nutrition he was able to celebrate another birthday. He also had the smarts to know that poor people needed help.

While I was waiting for the church to approve/disapprove this proposal, I have been busy collecting dimes, getting donations from people. So far, I have collected almost $90 and turned it into Harvest Hope Food Bank.

It's a that one of God's people have to die when food is available.

I have been an avid fan of "Seventh Heaven" since it first began. I have been with it through its growth and growing up of the children. I love to see especially how Sam and David are growing.

Harry Turner has a twin sister, Clara Grace. I think that the twins on the show are about the same age.

One of the things which first interested me in the show is that you really, genuinely care about people, and help them out of their situations.

God bless!

I couldn't wait for your second CD to come out. Now, learning that you'll be adding a DVD with interviews and coverage of the band playing live .... wow!!! that's great! Thank you so much. I never thought we'd really get a chance to see you play "live", apart from the songs that you add to your site, which is truly appreciated. I also love to read your linear notes. Thank you for the time you take for your fans and for that extra mile to present a little of yourself that we would otherwise never see or hear.
Hope you are having a great vacation.

I just found out today that you did a movie with one of my friends. The movie's name was 7th Avenue, and my friend's name was Marc Anthony (not the singer) do you remember this?

Hi Mr. Collins,
Just wanted you to know that I just purchased your CD from Barnes & Noble, and am waiting for it to come. I listened to your soundtracks, and the CD really sounds great. You really have a wonderful singing voice, and I hope in the new season of 7th Heaven you get to sing more.
I also hope that in the future there will be a 7th Heaven soundtrack. Now, that would be great!
Thanks for all you do.

Someone just posted in Catherine's guestbook not some nice remarks regarding her and the show. I just wish that people who do not like the show, nor the actor/actress would just leave their guest book alone. It's so annoying.

Hey Stephen...EXCELLENT finale. I must say that Mi Familia part II was the most well-scripted episode in years. The dialogue was so Camden-like and I felt like it was 1999 again. Haha Please know that we all appreciate your strong dedication to this series and I am extremely grateful for the long commitment. You have changed my life inexplicably. As an 18-year old college guy, I know that my age group in males is not high for 7th Heaven viewership but I definitely am one of the series' #1 fans. I have not missed a new episode since I started watching it (1999) EVER! And i mean EVER! I've always been in front of the TV doing nothing else when they first air. Thanks again!

I read some place that this new season might be the last. As a fan, I'm disappointed. I truly enjoy the show, visiting the Camden Family for one hour on Monday nights. At least I will have ABC's Family's reruns to watch.
Well, I do hope that what I have read was wrong. What would we do without 7th Heaven?

Mr. Collins-

I have actually just discovered 7th Heaven-I haven't been living in a cave, but I was busy having babies when the show debuted and I do not remember hearing a whole lot about it then (or now for that matter!!) What a shame that is, I have been so taken in by the show and have started watching the current episodes as well as Season 1 and 2 on DVD. I cannot believe that the show does not get more media attention since it has been so successful for so long.
Anyway, the main thing I wanted to convey is that watching the show has really transformed how my husband and I relate to each other and to our children. I know that this is "only a television show", but it gives us such a great example to follow. We are already treating each other with more respect and affection and dealing more constructively with our children as a result of seeing how Eric and Annie deal with relationships within their family. My husband laughs at me about taking the show so seriously, but he watches it with me and enjoys it more than he would like to admit. He also has noticed a change in my behavior towards him and is enjoying that as well!!
We both grew up in traditional and conservative homes, but with parents who did not know how to express their feelings and love , so the show has been a great learning experience for us as well as very entertaining.
God Bless you and the rest of the 7th Heaven cast, what you are doing IS making a difference in many lives.

Congratulations on next season. We love 7th Heaven and watch it at our house every Monday night; and sometimes we watch the reruns on ABC Family.

This program addresses the important issues facing teens and our society as a whole. It is not a religious debate! If anything, the script involving Simons sexual choices may cause others to stop and think about the consequences of their own choices and may even save a life in the process. It seems to me that the script shows young people how to say no, when almost everything else on television and the big screen is telling young people that everyone is saying yes, if you know what I mean. And as for the religious complaints, the last time I watched, Stephen Collins, Catherine Hicks and everyone else on this program were actors doing a very good job. This is a very good program, not some religious order.

The issues addressed on this program are the issues parents should be discussing with their children in open and honest ways, but most parents for various reasons, including religious beliefs, never discuss any of these things with their children. It is not anti-Christian or God to honestly discuss sex, drugs, abuse or any other issue facing our society. The issues covered on this program are issues facing everyone today. If parents would watch this program with their children, it would open the door for open, frank and meaningful discussions as a family in a very wonderful way. That kind of open communications with your children will bring them closer to you.

I am sorry for my soapbox, but not my belief. I just can not believe some of what I read from people in this guest book.

Hi,
We'll I am not sure who reads this besides the Visitors to the Site. But this is for who all that reads it who ever you are.I am hoping Mr. Collins visits and reads these comments time to time.
For the show 7th Heaven my option right now how its going Im a half and half about the show. Its nothing like it use to be.Some of the values have left the show. But not all just some.I miss alot of Eric talking to the people christen wise about there probles.I believe the show use to help alot of people because it had alot of common people problems that they can relate too.I do like the Mary story line lately. But I hope to see Eric and Annie move Marys Hubby and their Grandson in with them.So they want see there Grandchild sent off far away.As of Lucy and Kevin and their baby they need to move out.Their a couple with a family now. They need a home of there own.I think the show needs to focus on the twins alot more. They just dont have enough parts in the show and thats Eric and Annies little children. When the show first started the other kids when they was smaller had a lot of impact on the show and the shoe done GREAT everyone loved 7th heaven.
Anyway enough about the show.
Well I do hope you will be having a great time off from work Mr. Collins.I really miss seeing your wife on TV or movies wished she was still doing that type of work. But I do admire her for running her own bussness and being a mom too. That is very hard work by itself.
Well alittle about me.I am a single mom of 4 kids. One is a baby ( 22 months)I also run my own second hand type shop mostly antique type items.I like going threw old papers very unique.I also take my baby to work too.And also thanks to ebay I get to work some at home too.
My 9 year old daughter just loves 7th heaven( I bought her season 1 & 2 on DVD she just loved it.).I just love it because you dont have to sit in there ready to turn your TV off when the kids are watching 7th heaven its a good clean family show. There just aint many like that now a days on TV.I can accually leave the room with that show on.And for a single mom thats a blessing to get housework done and not sit over the TV to turn it off when it starts getting bad for the kids to watch.
Well I am going to quit taking up eeryones time.Try to write again latter.Have a Great summer and time off.And everyone have a great night tonight.

Mr. Collins,
Could you please give this message to Catherine? I have tried to access her guestbook, and I got an error message, so then I tried to get into her websight, got another error message. I hope that the reason that this is happening is because 1.) A problem with the server she uses. 2.) Since the show is now going on break, hopefully she will be able to update her sight, which would be wonderful.
My main fear is that she will take the whole thing down. Just like you, with this guestbook your fans have a place to come and to post their thoughts about the show, and even to give you their well wishes. I do hope that Catherine will not take her webpage down, and also her guestbook. Otherwise, where would her fans go to leave her messages? This is the only connection that we have.
Thank you.

Hi Mr. Collins,

I am writing to you from Toronto, Canada. I am one of your admirers on this Gods green earth. I have written you an e-mail too and not sure, if you have received it well.

I cant even begin to explain how much I adore you in every sense. You are my hero, my idol and someone whom I have learnt so much from. I must say that I sincerely worship you.

I have no idea whether or not this message is going to mean something to you because you must be getting tons of messages like these all the time. I watch 7th Heaven everyday and have learnt so much from it. Even my dialogue delivery is of the same kind as you. You have inspired me so much. I heartily wish you were related to me or I could see you everyday. At times, I have tears in my eyes to see how wonderful and amazingly great you are!

Mr. Collins, if you can respond to my e-mail just this once, I will not forget your favour. You dont have to write much but please just say youve got my e-mail. I would be highly obliged. My dream desire is to meet you in person. I dont know if you would ever want to call me but my home number is 905-279-8058.

You are probably saying to your self, "Great. Another 7th Heaven Freak". But I really think that you are great in 7th Heaven. You are perfect for the part of Eric. Please write back to me, Eric, and tell the rest of the 7th Heaven cast that they brighten my Mondays and that they have a huge fan. I wrote to Barry Watson in Febuary, but he didn't write back. Could You please tell him that I've been waiting for a response, and that every day when i go to get the mail i hold my breath. I can understand that he is very busy, but i would really appriciate if he wrote. I truly think that you are amazing. Thank You.

omg............the episode tonight.... the girl who said she's too old and never thought she'd have a father.....because she didnt think anyone would ever want her......

you stole my story didnt you, my life story.

yes, i'm kidding.......and somewhat bitterly sarcastic.....

see, now, no one wants me. i'm, it's scary, I'm almost 25.... people are married and have kids at that age...... and, ALL i want, is a father......someone to love me... I dont want a boyfreind or a love, i want a father..... a hug when i come home......someone ot be proud of me, someone to make me feel special...

I fianly got to move out of my parents house, so i'm not in an abusive environment anymore, but, ...... i'm just in a dorm room, not exactly a home. it took a lot to move out...... i get some extra money from financial aid.... do you think maybe if i could save up the money,.....maybe if i could come out there......if I could just pretend I had a family that loved me.......a father.....for a day or two.......

anyway. I have homework to do.

best regards,

I was happy to see that Mr. Stephen Collins decided to again put up his guestbook, for his fans to write to him and let him know how much that they care for him, after all, if it isn't for the fans of the show, there would not be a show. Now, I was disapointed to see that someone put up some stupid posts, and now, I am sure that he will probably reconsider and shut it down once again.

I am a huge Catherine Hicks fan, and used to post in her guestbook, until she took it down. It is sad, because of some "jerk" they have to ruin it for everyone else. I hope that Catherine will start her guestbook again, and I hope that Stephen will get rid of those nasty posts.

Stephen, I want to say how much I have admired your work since "Tales of the Gold Monkey." I like the series very much, but it was your character which really struck me. That handsome face, masculine bearing, (hairy chest), and warm character made me wish I could get lost on a remote island somewhere. I have only seen a couple of episodes of "Seventh Heaven," so I won't venture any comments that way. I try to see whatever you are in, because I truly believe you to be one of the best actors today. Of course, I will look for your CD, because it would be great to give some support to your career -- as small as mine would be. Thanks for all the wonderful work. Dear Mr. Collins
Last night's episode, "Hungry" was very good, good script and well acted. The sad fact is that with all the oursourcing of American jobs and the moves of American companies to Mexico for cheaper labor, and with a political system that does not care about the people, except for their votes, the problem will most likely get worst before it gets better. This sounds like a negative attitude and I hope I am wrong.

Hello Stephen,
7th Heaven is my all time favorite show. I love the storylines that are presented because in a way there not made up, there really true and are happening to people as we speak. Last weeks episode of Honor Thy Mother was a very nice episode and touching. I look forward to seeing Mondays episode also. I am so happy that there is going to be a 10th season. I would love to meet you or any of the other cast members but I don't think I will be making my way to California any time since on a count of I live all the way in New Jersey. Well enjoy your vacation and good luck with season 10.

I loved 7th Heaven's episode "Honor thy Mother" last night. It was great to see Eric back at the church and counseling again. Everyone did a great job, but your facial expressions are .... priceless.

Dear Mr. Collins,
I have been giving considerable thought to some ideas for the 10th season of 7th Heaven and would love to see another Christmas episode, I heard that Brenda Hampton made the comment that she could not write a better Christmas episode than "Here Comes Santa Claus," but it is not about writing a better Christmas episode, but about celebrating Christmas with family and friends. Something that Heaven has never done is an Easter episode, sunrise survices, a church easter egg hunt with other storylines with or without the resurrection theme. Another Halloween episode, Halloween falls on Monday this season. Another Thanksgiving episode, this season's episode was so good. Holidays are special family events and the Camdens are the perfect family to share these holidays with. If possible, Happy and the twins need more stories. Now, I know that Brenda Hampton has some ideas of her own, but, lets be frank, I still would have preferred a biblical name for Eric and Annie's granddaughter. Take care and have a wonderful vacation.

Dear Mr. Collins,
It was a good try but unfortunately it didn't work. Your webmaster can clean up the trash, it just takes time from other duties. I have learned to ignore the profane postings.
I have a comment, but do not have my notes with me, well, I will take it from memory. While Heaven has been airing reruns, I read a book by Hawkins, titled, "Power vs Force," in which, he discusses higher Consciousness and how the thoughts of a few can truly offset the thoughts of those with lower consciousness. If I have paraphrased his comments with some justice, then this could explain how a group of TM meditators can affect the crime rate of a city or location. If I have the pleasure of meeting you, then maybe I will be able to know your opinion. Take care, and tomorrow night is the start of new episodes. I will return to send some thoughts concerning the 10th season for I am certain that Brenda Hampton has started to work on some ideas of the 10th.
Please, no marriage for Simon, for he is in love with being in love.

Andrea,
You have to talk to someone who can help you with your pregnancy. I am a mother of a 19 year old who was pregnant and hid it right up to two weeks before she had her baby. Believe me even she will tell you having a baby is not something you want to go through alone! Tell your mother or at least someone else who is older and wiser and knows about these things. Talk someone who can help you decide what is the best thing for you to do about your situation. My daughter told me finally two weeks before she had her baby and I'm glad I was there for her during the birth of the baby. He is a beautiful healthy baby but it is a miracle because she had no medical care at all during her pregnancy. Please don't do what my daughter did.

Dear Stephen (I hope I can call you Stephen)
I am an 18 year old girl and I live in Antwerp, Belgium.
I just wanted to show you my support and let you know that you have a lot of fans here in Belgium (and when I say a lot I mean a LOT).
I'm so glad that I can be a part of the Camden family, it kind of replaces my own. I mean I love my mum and my dad, but I've kind of missed a bunch of brothers and sisters in my life. And that's where 7th heaven comes in.
I would love to meet you all but I know it's just a dream! If I had the money I would fly right to California!
Anywayzzz, I hope you're going to keep acting even if 7th heaven ends after season 10 (by the way congratulations for the 10 season.).
I loved you on 'The first Wives club'; it was so different of what you are doing on 7th heaven.

sincerely,
sarah

PS: Is it possible to tell Beverley Mitchell that I've made a fansite about her? If it's not possible, I understand though! I would really like to know what she thinks about it!

keep acting, be happy no matter what happens and be yourself!
